Tak ted jsme zjistily zajimavou vec. Podle praxe a i manualu nejde otocit polarizace na dalku zmenou chainu viz manual:
If you want to overcome certain obstacles or interference by using only one polarization in 802.11a mode,
you can switch off chain1 of the wireless device. When chain0 is used, the device is horizontally polarized
when mounted as indicated in the Mounting section of this document. If you wish to use vertical polarization,
turn the device 90 degrees to that the mounting bracket attachment is parallel to the ground. Chain1 can't
be used separately. Switching off chain1 to use only one polarization can be done in the RouterOS wireless
configuration menu.
Největší sranda je že v manualu se dále píše:
Mounting
With the clip pointed forward, slide the mounting bracket onto the rail on the bottom of the case, until the
clip clicks into place. Make sure the clip is securely holding the mounting bracket in place.
The SXT comes bundled with a hose clamp - guide the clamp through the opening in the bracket and around
the pole where it will be mounted. Tighten the hose clamp screw when alignment is complete. Two screw
holes are provided as additional security against accidental bracket movement.
The SXT must be mounted with the door pointing downwards, to avoid moisture coming into the box. The
image shows the only correct way to mount the device. Small holes are located on the bottom to
provide ventilation and exit for condensate.
tzn že lze použít pouze jednu polarizaci a to základní - horizontální přičemž ikony a text na anténě jsou směřovány tak aby byli čitelná při otočení o 90 st. Teoreticky by se dala otočit, o 90 st. ale hodně špatně by se přidělavala na klasický držák.
